The Dressing Table fragrance is inspired by memories of my Grandmother Vera's dressing table. I loved sitting on the little stool and peering into the mirror, she had a powder puff with a very distinct face powder fragrance and a lovely silver handled hairbrush and mirror set which I loved playing with, this comforting fragrance will take you down memory lane.

This candle is hand-poured in my Wiltshire cottage using a gorgeous plant based wax blend using coconut and rapeseed wax, along with a cotton wick, high quality fragrance oil and an amber glass candle vessel. As with all natural plant based wax candles, the tops aren't always 100% smooth due to the natural nature of the wax.

Top Notes: Bergamot, Geranium & Lavender

Heart Notes: Jasmine, Lily & Amber

Base Notes: Vanilla, Musk & Amber

Candle Care & safety

  • Ensure that candles are kept away from children and animals, draughts, flammable objects and are only burnt on a heatproof surface. Do not touch a burning candle as the vessel heats up during burning.
  • Before lighting, trim the wax down to 0.5am, trim wick after every use if it is longer than 0.5cm.
  • On each burn, burn for 2-3 hours to allow the melted wax pool to reach all the way to the edge of the vessel as this creates a 'wax memory' and reduces the risk of a candle 'tunnelling'.
  • Do not burn for longer than 3- 4 hours at a time and if the flame becomes too high during a burn, extinguish and trim the wick before relighting.
  • Once your candle burns down to the final 1-2cm of wax extinguish and then once cooled you can clean and re-purpose the jar, see my candle care page here for details of how to clean and remove old wax and wicks.
